Rocky believes that hard working families deserve to keep more of what they earn. That’s why he is a leader when it comes to cutting taxes and making government live within its means. While others talk about principles, Rocky voted to cut taxes and against tax hikes.

Rocky will not back down on his position to lower tax rates and is ready to make the tough decisions needed to reduce government spending. Rocky believes we must balance the federal budget without raising taxes, and we must simplify our tax code and make it fairer.

For example, Rocky wants to eliminate sun-setting of any tax reductions (especially the death tax), eliminate the Capital Gains Tax, expand options for tax-free savings, create incentives for individuals and corporations to provide health insurance, and develop a fair tax system that rewards hard work, job creation, or increases in productivity.
